Unlock the Perfect Rise Ball with SpinDr Softball
Any elite batter will tell you that a rise ball is one of the hardest pitches to hit. Batters can’t lay off of it because it's so tempting to hit. The batters know that it’s a ball, but it looks so good!
Things I Say to Pitchers When Throwing Their Rise Ball:
1. Get under the ball (fingers) a little earlier
2. Lead with your pinkie longer
3. Keep your elbow in
4. Drop your thumb back
5. Use the ground to resist with that front leg
6. You're slow on your snap, snap right in front of that back hip

So pitchers, to become the best version of yourself, you need to start perfecting your rise ball! I mean, really perfecting it! And it’s going to be scary. Any pitcher will tell you that as great as a rise ball can be, it can also be the scariest to pitch. What if it doesn’t rise?! What if she hits it over the fence?!
The pitches with the most risk also come with the most reward. So, don’t settle on a high fastball or a rise that just drifts on up there. We want to see the break!
